Looks like Camp Calgary cost us at least $100,000. Funny, in one of the warmest winters I remember, I have yet to see a single person protest again since they stopped illegally camping. No real issues actually worth protesting about apparently.

Tavis Ford, a member of the Occupy movement, said the city’s decision to patrol more frequently wasn’t necessary as the group wasn’t a threat.
“It’s unfortunate that it went this way, but sometimes,
in the process of change, these costs are incurred by the state, and the taxpayer does bear the burden of that,” he said. “But it is, perhaps, a necessary cost.”
