In my exerience, the kind of people who lump all cops together as scum bags, are typically the kind of people that have more run ins with cops than the average joe.

You know how many run ins I've had with scum bag cops?
Zero, because, I know that telling a cop to go screw himself, or telling him he should be off stopping real crime, is a pretty poor way of getting sympathy from someone who has a tough job, and has to deal with a lot of jerks throughout the day.
