NHLers, are not as far off as you think. There is a lot more income parity on the NHL however. Plus unlike the NFL contracts are guaranteed.

We aren't talking about pro money, or at least I wasn't. I was talking about leagues like the CHL and other
amateur associations. I would bet similar football programs in Texas bring in more money than WHL, QMJHL and OHL combined.
