They didn't try to
sneak anything into law. This is the same process that is used for any bill brought before Parliament. The sponsoring Minister brings the Bill forward for presentation to the house where it goes through three readings with committee work between the readings. We should all be grateful that the public reaction to this proposed asnine legislation has been so swift and powerful
before the it got further into the process. BTW goverments aren't in the habit of saying 'Ya, we f'ed up. Sorry, guess we're just dumb.'
