I don't know anything about cars, but a great friend is having a problem with his and thought I would throw it up on here to see if anyone can suggest anything at all.

He writes:

"1988 Toyota 4Runner with a 3.0 V6. I replaced the engine last year due to water in the air intake. The engine is sound,compression is 150 psi on all 6 cylinders and the timing is set properly. I've replaced the spark plugs,mass air flow sensor,throttle body and the distributor cap and rotor button. All the wiring is plugged in as it should be,I have the shop manual for it and its all been done right. Also,the fuel pressure holds at 44 pounds,as per specification. (Itll run but it floods itself out with the cold start injector) Someone help"

Can anyone suggest anything?
