After trading for Henrik and going on a nice little winning streak, I got to thinking about that question.

Sure, there are a thousand variables that go into making a winning team, but if you could, theoretically, trade a first round pick for a guaranteed number of wins in the season, how many would you need?

Assume an unknown pick in the top 10
Assume you are an average team that would be fighting for the 7/8 spot without the trade. 10 extra wins? 15?



I'm not sure yet, but this gives me something to think about while I wait for my 10:30pm ultimate frisbee game to start.
