Were you born after 1990 and do you think "The Empire Strikes Back" is the most "boringest" of all?

The prequel trilogy is schlock, case closed on three films right there.

I love how Lucas and his apologists have stated that these movies were made exclusively "for children" on a post hoc basis. The movies were designed so the whole family can watch them. However murdering children (albeit off screen) and callously leaving your former friend to burn to death on a rock hardly seems like " movie made for children".

Prior to 1999, no one ever said Star Wars was made for children, because it simply was not true. The movies were accessible and good for all to watch because they were actually good films for the most part (Empire Strikes back is very good). There was no need to make excuses after the fact to cover for bad film making.

Now Lucas keeps rehashing modifying and slowly ruining the original trilogy with each passing "re-release".
