Lucas re-hashing the same movies time and time again is beyond stupid now, and don't even get me start on his ridiculous changes to the originals. Not to mention the turds that were Episodes 1-3.
It would be nice to be able to enjoy the Star Wars universe again but Lucas has pretty much ensured that not only do I not enjoy what Star Wars is anymore, I actually can't stand the franchise anymore in a lot of ways.
The last Star Wars related anything I enjoyed was Knights of the Old Republic on Xbox.

I guess I'm the counter, to an extent I enjoyed the trilogies, I was able to get by the Binks thing which was the Ewok bomb of the original trilogy and some of the bad acting by Portman and Christenson because of the underlying story line and the strong acting by MacGregor and Ian McDarmid among others.
I loved the space battle at the start of Sith.
I loved the fight between Maul and the Jedi and the fight between Anakin and Kenobi.
I became a huge fan of Palpatine who manipulated things throughout the first three movies and became more then the Monster of the week that he was in Jedi.
I loved the back story on the clone Troopers to Storm Troopers.
While it wasn't Oscar worthy if you go back and watch the original trilogies outside of Empire ANH really dragged in a lot of places and the acting wasn't great, and Jedi while it had some exceptional scenes suffered the same underdeveloped plot point issues as Sith.
I really don't want to see another Star Wars movie, I think that the story ended where it should have ended, and I'm getting my Star Wars fill with Clone Wars which I think is very strong.
I don't want remakes with different actors, I don't want a Star Wars Galaxy without the Sith menace.
Frankly if they did another movie without the Sith, it would basically be Luke Skywalker owning everything as the only real Jedi left in the Galaxy.
I mean the line from Vader, the power to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the force, basically means that some non force using enemy would see Skywalker crushing ships into cubes from a distance while laughing and texting Leia "Pwned Ha Ha"
