Yeah, I never understood the hate for dogs in some muslim communities. Does Islam say that dogs are dirty? Yes. But, nowhere does it say that dogs are evil or anything to that end. More so, I challenge anyone to find a dog owner thinks their dog isn't dirty. I think the Quran/Hadiths just kind of pointed out the obvious fact that dogs aren't very clean and some derainged people took it to an extreme. I mean, if you come in contact with a dog, you go wash up and you're all good. It's not like you're eternally unclean and damned to hell for touching your neighbour's dog. That's always been the way I look at it.
On the whole muslims love butter chicken thing... umm no we don't. My Indian/Pakistani muslims do, but us Arabs (majority of Muslims) don't even know about the existance of the dish. That's as ignorant as saying "Those Christians sure love their Fish and Chips.... well all Brits are Christian and white so, they must all eat the same thing"
