Finance - stay on top of your homework, do the readings, and don't freak yourself out. It's one of those courses where once you just sit down and work at it, you'll find it pretty manageable. The midterm's tough - they throw major curveballs at you on it, so make sure you read the questions VERY carefully. The final and the quizzes are straight forward

Finance is by far the most annoying class so far in my career at Haskayne - and we're only a little over a week in. I'm staying on top of the work as much as I can - the 1st quiz on the Time Value of Money is on Monday, so it approaches fast. As for the midterm, I've heard it IS difficult, and you just have to accept the fact that you might not do so well in it.
There's alot of info to take in, but the content isn't super-complex - there's just alot of it. The most taxing part is the complex problems that require multiple formulas and timelines. I think I'm becoming too dependent on my calculator though....
....I'll try not to freak out, but I'm biting my lower lip and clenching my fists already...
BTW calf, what program and year are you in?
