Honestly, I don't think it's that big a deal. They're not going into a sour horizon, and blowouts of any kind are extremely rare. It's an oil target and it'll probably get a pcp pump, so it'll be a wellhead with little spinning thing on top (no big pumpjack). My guess is they'll put a shack over the wellhead, so you'll just see a building the size of a garden shed with a tank next to it.
You don't put PC Pumps on wells unless they have sand production, typically (i.e. heavy oil). This is targetting the Viking and Cardium zones, light oil production and no sand.

Here's the details on the completion and facilities plans:

What type of equipment can we expect to see at the 1-28 well site?

In the event KXL is successful in its efforts to obtain production there could be production equipment on the site including a pump jack, separator, incinerator and tanks. In the event we’re highly successful there could be several pump jacks on the site, but tanks, separation and incineration would be at a remote location north of the 1-28 site, connected to it by pipeline.

Will there be more wells on the site or a pipeline from the site?

At this time we don’t know. If a pipeline is installed it will go north and parallel the existing ATCO pipeline in the area. If production proves to be economic there is a possibility of three more wells each with their own separator and pump jack but all using the same pipeline that would be installed initially. Every well and pipeline will require an ERCB application with required consultation and input from interested parties. If we succeed with the project you will be able to comment based on Kaiser’s actions on the 1-28 well.
