I don't know anything about how oil wells work, but is it the same as the one that's along Deerfoot near the Airport? I think I remember seeing one on Barlow Trail back before it was closed off where they made it look like a cowboy riding a horse while it was pumping up oil. They should do that for the Royal Oak one to pretty it up heh.
