Jobshops tends to be the job board for lower end positions, labor positions and full commissioned or retail sales people.

Kijiji is pretty brutal for that too.

The cold calling aspect can work well, just make sure you know what your going to say and who your going to say it too.

Monster is also used a lot make sure that your resume and profile are up to date.
I often wonder about these kinds of places. Is there normally any sort of downside to using a recruiter compared to just applying normally? I know my wife signed up for something like that and they ended up offering her the exact same position her sister was working at, but for $6 less an hour.

I am most probably going to be moving on from my current position when I finish school this spring and am contemplating my options/strategies.
