What sux more for me was this happened to me at my resort in mexico last year! The room above us was being renovated and they started at 7:30am and the first couple of days they we're chipping away floors tiles... it was infuriating!

This reminds me of the time I was doing a concrete walk at a condo in Canmore. It was a timeshare place around 11 am, and I was nailing a form to the front of a step. Some guy comes outside and starts losing it on me because he wanted to have a nap between two rounds of golf.
There was somewhere else I could have gone and worked for an hour, but buddy's attitude only resulted in me deciding it was time to fire up the bobcat and make some real noise.
As for the OP, it sounds like you're dealing with some real aholes. They obviously enjoy the fact that their loud job disturbs the neighbourhood.
