Good post, I agree.

For all those complaining about sim subbing issues, network tv is essentially simsubbed for American's too. The local affiliate retransmits the broadcast with their commercials, and they do have their own issues with not cutting back to the program in time, etc. Don't even get me started about how much the affiliates screwed things up in early days of HD! There are cases where my local affiliate doesn't even show a forth round of a major golf tournament to show a college B-ball game.
