No need to get all sensative, Captain. You just explained why this "old fashion writing" is dead and replaced by "LOL" and whatever else you said - because this is conversation, and not a thesis. I've seen you write thesis's, so I know you do put effort into some posts... but by in large, the writing you complain about is casual and discussion like for the reason you described yourself.
That's all I'm saying. I have nothing against a witty one-liner or anything. (though sometimes there are too many made that aren't even funny)
