Funny thing is, I can't find them in my size anymore and the company has been unresponsive to my queries. I'd get another pair or two if I could find them. Cost me about $175, if I recall correctly.

The company went through some kind of reorganization so some of the shoes (even across the same style) are still made in England, and some are made in the usual cheap labor hotspots. They should be exactly the same but I find the Brit models fit a bit better.
I often buy them on eBay and can get them for under 50 bucks with very little wear.. The older ones often fetch more money. I also have a pair of vegans (Docs were pretty much the only leather shoes I bought). They took a bit longer to break in it seems but i'll buy them again.
What size do you take? I have to wear thick socks with mine. They are a bit wide and my heels are narrow. I wish they had a half size.
I wear them every day to work as they last so much longer than the postal regulation shoes/sneakers.
I have a couple pairs of boots with completely wrecked uppers. They're great for canoeing in the swamp where you might have to get out and step in God knows what. The average sneaker would be sucked off my foot.
