Joke may have been a harsh word and for that I apologize.

Women's tennis USED to be good, heck, it was really worth watching. But that was long time ago. Back when we had Henin, Williams sisters, Clijsters, Sharapova...

Now we have (had) #1's such as Safina, Jankovic, Ivanovic, Wozniacki...but were they REALLY the best? Yes, they had the most ranking points, what else....but IMO they weren't really the best. Henin when she played for example was the best. You knew she was the favourite to win every tournament she entered. It was very rare she lost prior to semi's/finals. That's what's lacking in women's tennis right now. Someone you can truly call the best. Maybe not just one, but 2, 3 players fighting for that spot. Sort of what we have on the men's side.

I hope it's just a phase, that we'll see some improvement in the near future.
