I think everyone is looking at this from the point of view of probability of something crappy happening in Mexico as opposed to any other vacation destination (or domestically). The fact is, IF something DOES happen, Mexico is the last place you want to be. Having to deal with an accident/trauma in a place with a system as backwards as Mexico is awful.
