At the same time I know of two friends who were killed at Mexican beach resorts in separate incidents, by rogue waves of all things. Frankly, I get bored by the beach after a couple of days. I like to golf on my vacations,and Mexico is ridiculously overpriced in this regard. Give me Nevada, Utah or Arizona or various other USA destinations. Thousands of cheap golf courses and most of the people I interact with are of the same socioeconomic group as me, so I blend in easily. And the US justice system, though flawed, is well established, predictable and relatively uncorrupted.
