Looking at driving to LA on the holiday Saturday in Feb. I've heard horror stories about making that trek, but I'm thinking the Saturday morning of a long weekend all the traffic should be going towards Las Vegas. Any experience?

Just did it last weekend, it was no big deal at all. I left Friday morning, and did Vegas to Hollywood in about 4.5 hours. I left Friday night around 10 PM, and made the Hollywood to Vegas leg in the same time. There was hardly any traffic heading to Vegas at that time of night.
