Meh, I could potentially see it, especially if they arrived/checked in by early evening. And if she's of the sociable variety, as the pubs there are easy to meet people. Husband: "I'm tired from that flight/dinner, may head to bed early", Wifey: "Oh really? We just got here, I want to celebrate!". Husband: "Have fun, I'm going to bed".
I could see the girl and I having that convo day 1 at a resort, she's a bit younger and got a lot more energy than myself. Agreed though it is a little suspicious, just sayin that I could see it happening. Especially if they were already out for a nightcap and he decided to head up back to the room while she stayed down there.
