The house I'm currently living in has only street parking available in the front. My battery has started dying overnight due to the recent cold and I'm wanting to run a couple cords from the outlet out front of the house to the vehicle. Does anyone know if there some kind of city bylaw against running cords across a sidewalk? I checked the city website and it refers to the banning of cords running to trailers/RV's but doesn't specify vehicles. Google brings up a couple articles talking about the issue in Regina but that's about it.

I had my cord running across the sidewalk last winter, I just made sure it always stayed pretty flat and tried to cover it in snow when possible.
