Maltby, Kirk (LW) NHL (Upgrade over Marchant)
Blake, Rob (D) NHL (Best Dman in the deal)

FOR

Pirjeta, Lasse (C) NHL (Depth)
Ohlund, Mattias (D) NHL (good dman)
McCabe, Bryan (D) NHL (good dman)
Olvestad, Jimmie (LW) NHL (depth)
Fitzgerald, Tom (RW) NHL (depth)
Marchant, Todd (C) NHL (overpaid and a UFA)
Doig, Jason (D) NHL (depth)

The two dman are a wash IMO. Blake is by far the best in the deal and Visnovsky has doen the same thing as McCabe, they both have 51 points and over 10 goals each.

I upgrade on Marchant by gettng maltby.

Doig for Tamer is a wash.

Grant gets those depth players and I get Andrew Alberts, give this one to Grant for the advantage if you want, but I had to do it for cash reasons.

Rathje and Richards is fair compensation for Iginla and Slegr.

Thats how I see it. All around I thin it is a very fair deal.
