Ariel Pink Has Two New Albums and a Werewolf Movie in the Works

Pink says the next Haunted Graffiti album will be "[loosely] based on a childhood movie that I made with my cousins, basically a combination of Ghost and Ford Fairlane. It's like a rock-and-roll detective story. There's a rock star who dies onstage and his brother wants to get to the bottom of the caper." Pink tells V the record will be called A Death in Hollywood, but according to a representative, that title is not confirmed.

V also mentions a new collaborative album between Pink and fellow lo-fi artist R. Stevie Moore, noting the extremely controversial album title of Ku Klux Glam. A track from the album surfaced last summer, but as the magazine notes, a 35-track "unfinished" version of the full album is on Soundcloud. It was posted four months ago.
