Right now I'm 31 but look about 25. So even though I'm in a relationship, I get attention from women when I'm at a bar etc...(attention that I can't act upon, but maybe that's why they're giving it to me) However, 31 seems to be around the age when people's looks really start to fade. A lot of my friends have either gone bald or gained weight.
While yes it would be fun to stay young forever and pick up young attractive women, that isn't the case. Picking up 40+ women at bars just doesn't seem all that fun.

A mans' sexual market value is not centered around youth and looks, so you're play time is extended. That's not to say women don't care about looks, but it is lower on the priority list.
An older man can still easily get with younger women if you dress well and maintain decent shape.
It is the women who hit the attractiveness brick wall and run out of options as they age.
