Flip of a coin is too much of a factor in OT, however this rule only applies in the playoffs. I think it should be like this all year. Or, they could have shoot out rules like hockey- kicker lines up at 50 yard like and gets three chances to kick- that might be ok to watch- if the FG is blocked it doesn't matter, because it's just a missed attempt, unless the snapper fumbles... etc.
