I don't know where you guys are getting your information from on this guy to girl ratio. It's pretty much one to one.
The guy/girl ratio in Calgary between the age of 19-40:
Male: 171,755
Female: 168,925
Male/Female ratio for Vancouver between the age of 19-40:
Male: 284,040
Female: 309,820
Male/Female ratio for Toronto between the age of 19-40:
Male: 713,575
Female: 762,415
These numbers are from 2006 but you get the idea.
