2011 was a big year for Calgary Sledge hockey.
The last year marked the inauguration of the Alberta Sledge Hockey League, 4 teams:
Edmonton Impact (intermediate and senior 'A' excluded)
Calgary Scorpions (senior and intermediate teams)
Red Deer Rage (senior)
Battle River Icehawks (senior)
Next year we hope to have a senior team in Edmonton and a team from Lethbridge.
The Calgary Scorpions first league game was against Red Deer Rage and resulted in a 4-0 loss.
(We will get them next game!)

In 2011 Calgary successfully hosted the World Sledge Hockey Challenge. Canada retained the Gold!
