Well how many teams in this league have 15 to 20 million dollars of unused money being spent? Theres money for player of the week awards, allstar appearances, and bigger payouts for winning playoff rounds. Than theres sponsorships which can payoff if clubs applied for the right deals. I think the whold idea of cap going down is a myth. It's the T.V. money which is rumored to be dropping from 3 to 2 million per year. So big whoop, any team that makes the playoffs will have as much or more money to spend next year as they do this year. I don't blame agents in the least for at least wanting to test the free agency waters. NHL players opt for the money 90% of the time so why should CPHL players be any different.
