That one actually goes both ways though. I don't want to 'ring through your purchase' while you're on the phone or talking to your friend about your personal life, either. Now I know I'm paid to be there, and you're spending your hard earned money with me, but at the same time, how am I supposed to serve you if you don't let me talk to you?
On the phone, it's the same. I get people call and put me 'on hold' to talk to their friends all the time, or don't pay attention when I'm answering a question they've just asked. Really makes me want to hang up on them. They'll pay attention after that. Seriously, if you don't have time in your busy schedule to talk to me, why'd you call?
