I thought he was still a decent prospect for the Jets. Was taken in the second round only 30 spots after Backlund in 2007.

Still just 22 years old. He's still on his last year of his ELC with them. How are the Heat able to sign him to a PTO? Did the Jets org just plain cut him loose or something?

Big kid anyhow, 6'4" 220+ lbs.
