A year ago last November the Republicans won the House with tea party candidates who promised to balance the budget. Obama is on pace to spend more in his first 4 years than Bush did in 8. Never before has America seen multiple trillion dollar increases in debt so quickly.
Since January of 2011 Obama has been doing everything in his power to gain more access to borrowed money. He has to the Republican's shame had some success. The debt limit was raised in the summer and is about to be raised again.
Obama has been basically campaigning since the spring with a message that Congress is what is holding him back from fixing everything. He blames them for not letting him tax the rich more. He blames them for not letting him have more money to stimulate the economy. He blames; he blames; he blames. The question is will American's believe him and ignore the 15 trillion in debt his government helped create.
