Big Ben is one of the elite QB's in the league, so I'm not really sure why you're referencing him. Ocho put up big seasons with Palmer, who was a Pro Bowler at the time, when he was in his prime. I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but players generally put up bigger numbers in their prime then they do on the downswing of their careers. I'm also a big fan of your reference to a completely different league with completely different demands and styles of play, really demonstrating your acumen once again.
Btw, Cassel played pretty damn good in 2008. That may have something to do with the numbers.
The bottom line is if Brian Hoyer is starting 16 games for the Pats this season they're not a playoff team, and I'm a huge Hoyer fan.

The point of my previous statement with Baltimore winning and Davis setting the record is that there is more to a successful team and players than just a qb so thank you for proving that point. Personally i think Bill Belichek is more important to the Pats than Brady but they go hand in hand really.
Big Ben elite? i knew you were out to lunch but really? I specifically remember Ben winning them a superbowl with their terrible defense and no run game
Theres a reason Cassel was successful in 2008 and that was he had 2 pro bowl receivers in Moss and Welker and a damn good head coach and OC.
The patriots won 3 superbowls because of an opportunistic defense and a well balanced offense... not Tom Brady.
Anyways countless times a team has won a superbowl with an average QB. by your logic the 2007 superbowl shouldn't have even been played i mean mini manning vs brady why bother right?
Any ways i agree with Hoyer we arent a playoff team but i still think they win about 8 games
I wont be responding to anymore of your posts so save your breathe, pretty clear whose right in this one seeing as my posts are backed by stats and real life examples
