I would worry that he would chew up things, especially electric cords. He seems too big to keep in a cage most of the time. You can get them to urinate in a litterbox, but their pellets are a diiferent matter. Outside it is no worry, just less fertilizer I have to add. This rabbitt was specifically bred for outside. Most indoor, pet store rabbits will not do well outside a lot in Calgary winters. His greenhouse burrow ranges from 5 to 24 celsius. On the warm days he gets an ice bottle.

We were able to give him a decent sized area in the greenhouse. Letting him live inside the house at night and outside durring the day would put too much stress on him with that much temperature range. He has an amazing coat of fur.
