DealTicker flat out refused to refund me for the JR contracting spring landscaping deal, after they had no showed me 7 times. Conveniently, the only appointments available initially were after the refund window had closed, which they then never showed for...
DealTicker is a step below the other sites, IMO. Dealfind got me a refund in a similar situation, but it took time/multiple emails.
I've learned my lesson about these individual service provider type deals, and wonder whether it's still appropriate for them to be promoted on CP. The original reason the mods allowed this (commercial) thread was to help the members, but many of these cleaning/landscaping type deals are one step up from scams, which doesn't really help the member, imo.
