See if that helps. A bad Safari install is exceptionally rare, but it can be uninstalled and reinstalled even on Macs. Safari is used by iTunes for rendering the App Store, so the fact that they both have issues points to a bad Safari install.

One final question. I have mynitunes library on a external drive. I change the location in the prefereances to that mdrive but nothing shows up in iTunes. How do I fix this?
Fixed the library thing. All is well in my world now. Thanks again. What would have caused this problem. I only thing I did was sign up for iTunes match. I will blame the kids.
