Septic Bursitis probably if you have warmth in the swollen part and tenderness as well. Just had it last month and had massive doses of antibiotics for ten days, then about another week before the swelling completely abated.

If no warmth, then it may just be regular bursitis that will resolve on its own.


I heard stories about them draining the bursa, but they never did that for me. Had visits to Walk in and SCUCC and got two different antibiotics in three days to kill it though.
