Most guys are pretty shy to get out there when there are only like 4-5 people on the dancefloor and everyone sitting down can see how much of a fool you are.
There's usually a very noticible point in the night when the dancefloor picks up. Way more guys are willing to dance when there are 25-30 people out there and you can kind of blend in.
