I like women, and women like dancing, so I learned to like dancing. I met my wife on a dance floor, so I'm thinking it was worth it.
Besides, dancing is fun.
And no, I can't imagine telling my wife she couldn't go dance on her own, that would just ruin her evening.
Plus, I'm not what you'd call the jealous type. Let's just say that we have our little in-jokes about my wife's swing dancing hobby and leave it at that.
