Flames call up 3 AHL dmen and 2 AHL forwards for the Vancouver game to rest his extremely tired team....expected to get thrashed, and somehow held the Canucks to 16 shots on goal and got David Backes suspended for 3 games for butt-ending!
Antii Miettenen is the man for the Flames.

Flames jump over both Phoenix and Anaheim in the standings.
