Thanks Scotian. The trick to YYC is to keep a network of people that hear about unique visitors coming to town, then it is just a matter of having your camera with you at all times. I work right by the airport, and our yard here backs onto the approach for 34 so sometimes I can just walk out back to get the shot.
Lots of great spots to get pics too, with some of the upcoming development that may make some of the sightlines harder to come by though.
Love that A380 shot! Still waiting for one to divert here, we have a pretty good chance with both Lufthansa and Air France flying the A380 over to San Francisco.
