Apparently KLM is going to be offering you not only the ability to pick your seat, but pick your seat mate as well. Using Facebook & Linkedin to connect passengers with other passengers.

Neither USA Today nor tNooz get into the specifics. However, it seems different from what Malaysia Airlines is suggesting, where you'll see your friends on the flight and where they're seated.
