In that vein, I get a reminder every time this thread gets bumped. The original poster had such little trust in people with authority that he had to declare in the thread title that this thread should remain separate from the general Occupy #insertlocale thread. I see that "Do Not Merge" in the title every time I open this thread. I get the reminder that the OP felt the need to declare in the thread title that he believed the CP moderators would do the wrong thing without his overt guidance.

It is subtle, but constant reminder for me of the distrust that our local protesters have. And they have distrust of people that I think do a very good job. In the case of this thread, it is the distrust of CP moderators. I do not participate in too many forums, but I have not seen a moderation group that does as good of a job as those here. And yet they are just another group that the Occupy YYC folks believe will try to oppress them.
