I remember when I took Math 251 (5 years ago now) I was sure that I had failed and I was even re-arranging my schedule in the Winter semester to try and fit it in as I was certain I would be repeating it. Most people in my class felt the same way. When the grades came back I got in the high 70's with the class average being around 73-75. I'm fairly certain the grades were curved. Don't worry too much.
In the case that you do have to re-take the course, it's not a huge deal, the worst part being that you have to pay for the course again. I would make sure to do it again as soon as possible though. I'm not sure what faculty you're in, but the rules in Haskayne (where I am) are that you can repeat any course ONCE, you must pass it on the second time around though or you get kicked out of the faculty.
