Stern needs to be fired if he actually blocked the trade from the L.A. Clippers because he felt N.O. should get Gordon and Minnesota's pick.

I kinda understand the reasoning for blocking the L.A. Lakers trade, that is somewhat defensible even though it was completely unprecedented.

But blocking a trade that would have gotten the Hornets a potential top pick in the 2012 draft is pretty short sighted. Let the GM's do their jobs, Dell Demps should really just resign right now and nobody should take that job.

EDIT: After reading a little more at least it looks like this trade didn't make it to the actual league trade approval process, it appears that they actually advised Demps to not take the trade unless it featured the first and Eric Gordon.
