BIMB you were lucky to get two bucks a week allowance in exchange for hours of back breaking labor like mowing and trimming the lawn, painting the fences around you're massive back yards (BIMD houses had back yards), sanding the massive deck, clearing the eavesdrops, taking the dog for a walk for two hours and cleaning up its poop.
But that two bucks would get you three medium slurpees a week and a comic book.
