I don't live in Calgary so I can't make a good recommendation, but I had a similar experience to yours at Bath Fitters and/or Lowe's. Mine was at Totem. My wife's uncle went through totem to have some bathroom renos and they were happy with the process and told us to do the same. So we went to Totem to inquire about developing a bathroom which was currently a storage room that was roughed in for a bathroom. They quoted almost $8000 but still missed a couple of things on the quote. We thought it was too much and found a contractor who quoted $4000. The job is almost done and coming in about $300 less than that. This guy used to do contract work for Totem but took his work elsewhere when he found out how much Totem was charging. The materials where close in price but the labour is where the huge difference was.
