If they are utilizing some of the newer technology available in wood products it could be equivalent or even superior to concrete for fire suppression. Those materials however come with a large cost, so I doubt that they would be used through all of the construction.

Just build it well, get your fire suppression systems in place and if you are a purchaser make sure you have a proper evacuation plan in the event of a fire.

When I was in a 4 floor wood frame in the Bridges I had one of those rolled up aluminum ladders. Just get onto the balcony (or bust open a window) and hook it over the rail/window sill and down you go.

The soundproofing was actually quite good in the condo (built by Bucci), only noticed a little noise below from that neighbours dog. The sound proofing on the adjacent units on either side was excellent, never heard a thing.
