I pay 30/month for the 6gb plan, I believe the regular 1 gb plan is $25. My total cell bill is $72, with unlimited voice/text.
I have heavily debated totally dropping internet, and relying on my cell/data plan, the only thing that stops me is the speed issue, and Apple TV.

You would be the exception not the rule. I think this is a great added feature to Shaw internet. I too have a 6 Gb plan and I will use wi-fi at any given opportunity just for speed alone.
